A Message from Love…
This year has been amazing and it is only May. I released an EP, my first music video and auditioned for and was chosen by BET. To say my journey has been blessed is an understatement. I wanted to take a moment to reflect and breathe before my team and I embark upon a huge endeavor for us..The Lover’s Game Tour!!
I want to thank everyone who has ever listened to, bought, or downloaded my music. You are amazing for supporting my dream! A dream that is materializing more and more because I have never given up no matter what the obstacle.. That kind of determination makes it almost impossible not to realize your potential.
When you support me I want you to know that I am a normal girl with a normal 8-5 that I go to everyday to pay my very real bills…But after that I rehearse hours with my dancers, take vocal lessons then work on the business side with my team until the wee hours of the morning.. Because I am an indie artist every project I release is self funded..from cds, to videos, to paying my team, to my producers who make the beats, to the engineers who mix & master the songs, to the videographers to shoot my vids.. they do not work for free so when you support me know I did not wake up one morning and say I want to be a singer this has been a journey.. From singing Count on Me at my 5th grade graduation to releasing my first cd in 2009 I have been trying to make you proud.. proud that I had the courage to step outside the box..proud that I am utilizing my God given gifts.. proud that I will never settle for ordinary when we all can be so much more.
With every success (or failure) I thank you for standing behind me rooting for me.. my success is your success and I challenge you to own that..know that and embrace it.. We are on our way to the top..I can’t wait!
